About CU

College University was started way back around 2000 when brothers Mike and Andy Parker took a weekend trip up to Vermont to visit their parents, and do some forced manual labor.

It was during this trip when the boys decided that they should write down all their stupid and funny ideas and come up with a cartoon that they can show to the world and make wheelbarrows of cash.

Andy came up with the idea to have the setting in college, and just like that, "College University" was born.

Their original plan was to write a pilot and figure out how to pitch it to TV networks- all was going according to plan until Mike discovered Macromedia Flash. Mike was attending The University of Connecticut and found time to teach himself flash inbetween naps and prolonged periods of drinking. When Mike was a senior (ahem...5th year senior) he was able to animate the first two episodes of College University for his Independent Study class- He posted them on Newgrounds.com, and viola! Instant success. From there they kept writing and animating and building a fan base and have continued to do so today.

Now with the help of long-time friend Michael William, the show has been taken to another level with amazing writing, voice acting and celebrity guest voices (Macho Man Randy Savage, Cynthia Rothrock, and the band O.A.R. all thanks to Johnie Tidwell at Cartoonmogul.com)-

What's next for CU? Well we haven't forgotten about that pilot, and tons more episodes, our second DVD some short films and much much more!

We'd also like to take time to thank all of our fans who watch and support College University- If it wasn't for you guys we'd probably abandon the show and start our own line of gourmet cookies for cats.
