That is a question that many people say, Where is Jesus? and for that matter, Where is God?, I think that if there is a God smart enough to create the Universe how could he talk to us and tell us how he did it? that is like you trying you explian to a beetle how a steam powered engine works even if you tried the beetle proberly wouldn't care let alone understand you, Maybe Jesus and God are trying to help us and talking to us maybe there are signs but we maybe are not smart enough or oblivious too it. but on the other hand it does say in the bible that god did talk to normal people.

Bravo.

Note: Religions for the most part are an oppressive tool of the ruling class to subjigate the proletariat into slavery for a false payoff in the afterlife. No I'm not a communist. You can use the word proletariat without being a socialist, I think.

Back in the Medieval days and before then when faith and religion was in its highest, When The Catholic and Anglican church's pretty much controlled the the civilized world and sciences was the tool of the devil, to control crime and murder was pretty hard, So I think like Discoballs said they used religion as a tool of fear that if you commit a crime you will be punished for eternity in the afterlife.

I'd agree with that. It's always been used and always will be.

God Bless America. Does everyone know that the "Amen" at the end of prayer is left over from ancient Egyptian influence on Judaism. Amen is the first name of Ra the sun god, or Amen RA. Stupid religion. I'll post some good stuff on anti-religion in my conspiracy place.

The word Amen (Hebrew: אָמֵן, Standard Amen Tiberian ’Amen ; Arabic: آمين, ’Āmīn ; "So be it; truly") is a declaration of affirmation found in the Hebrew Bible, the New Testament, and in the Qur'an. It has always been in use within Judaism and Islam. It has been generally adopted in Christian worship as a concluding formula for prayers and hymns. In Islam, it is the standard ending to Dua (Supplication). Common English translations of the word amen include: "Verily", "Truly", "So be it", and "Let it be". Colloquially, it can also mean "I agree," or "Well said."[citation needed]. In Berber, the word 'amin' is used regularly to mean "so be it" or "like that". Wikipedia is great

your thinking of Amon Ra is spelt different and there is also Amun Ra but i wish it is that would have been the icing on the cake for my veiw on religion!

I believe that is because there are no vowels in ye olde Egyptian, which is why we fill in the gaps and you get discrepencies like Amun and Amon.
