New Topic: Iran.

What do you think about Iran? Should something be done about them in regards to thier nuclear program? How do they affect the situation in the Middle East overall?


I see them as a wannabe Soviet Union, and they will eventualy go down in the same manner. They aren't as big or powerful but they are trying to be, and they think they will eventualy dominate the middle east militarily. Thier involvement in the Lebanon war was straight out of the US/Soviet cold war playbook (use locals to fight your enimies so you don't have to). Sure they have alot of oil but that only gets you so far, espacialy when fewer and fewer people want to buy it from you. I think they will get nukes sometime within 5 years though, and after that IDK what will happen.

Any country making/possessing nukes is a fucking idiot in my book.

I think America needs to stop acting like they have a say in every other country's government. Half the time they go in only looking for America's best interest when it hurts the other country. And yeah I am American but I have no say in deciding what the government and military are up to.

Shall I go down the list of democratically elected government officials removed by force from office by the CIA, only to be replaced by horrific dictators who will back American policy and keep the mineral rights in the hands of multi-billion dollar corporations. Basically if you try to nationalize your oil fields or other mineral rights you will be removed and replaced by a puppet. The horribly sad matter of fact is that over 90% of regular Americans are completely unaware of this. This is how monsters like Noriega and Hussein all came to power. The anti-Americanism of militant Islam is a direct result of these actions. Also the British agency of MI5 is the CIA's little European brother more than willing to engage in these same exact actions. So if you are a leader of a poor nation looking to improve your country's situation by utalizing your natural resources you will have to deal with the US.
