Many things are worthy of Simpsons, including American Dad, and many things are greater than the Simpsons - in fact, most things are. Simpsons is nothing special.

You're right, Simpsons is nothing special. It was though, and the best episode in the Simpsons golden age will beat any American Dad episode.

American Dad has it's good episodes but I can't help feeling like I'm watching the jokes that the Family Guy staff threw out.

I agree. Whenever I manage to sit down and watch American Dad it just pisses me off. Either they use something that seems like it's already been done on Family Guy (but was funnier the first time) or they use something that wasn't good enough for Family Guy. For some reason when Peter Griffin is stupid and ignorant it's funny, but when the guy on American Dad is stupid and ignorant it makes me want to punch him in the face.

To get back to the original topic of this thread. Best quotes ever are from ATHF -
Frylocke: I got the results for that search you wanted.
Shake: Sex with animals? There's no TIME MAN!
That and Carl's best quote.
Shake: C'mon man, can't we just iron this all out when I get back?
Carl: Yeah you know I guess we can, in fact y'know, lemme go get my iron...my tire iron.

Carl's best quote in my opinion is:
I don't need no instructions to know how to rock!
Shake: He's a reverse vampire. From Tansylvania. He craves the sun.
Meatwad (about his tattoo): It's tough, isn't it? It's a clown and it symbolizes street warfare.
