 do u got tips for flash animation
Ive been a huge fan of college univercity, and flash animation fot that matter. I myself have decided to get in the mix of it so me n my friend are trying to get a small website up.
anyway i was wondering if any of u had any tips for flash animation that i could use?

Uhm... Keep the framerate at 12fps as any more like 24fps makes it time consuming and any less like 6fps makes the movement look slow/crap.

Spend time on your project and make sure the sound quality is smooth. Try the Fps and see which is best for yuo to work with. Read loads of tutorials before you start work, that way you can skip corners and make some tasks easier if you know how.

since were on the subject, whats a good way to record voices? do ya have to get all fancy and get a sound room with professional recording crap or can u just buy some ten dollar mic and start shouting

Alright break it up you guys...lets keep this thread on topic here.
For the mic- try to get a USB mic other than the generic ones that plug into the audio in jack.
Just keep messing with the settings until you get it right. It's not easy- I've been doing this for awhile and I still struggle with it.
As for the earlier talk about FPS- I use 14 to keep the file size down. Obviously the animation suffers- so if you want to do a shorter film with the emphasis on animation- use 24 or even 30....
