I’m about to leave Spain to do a English course in London and am interested to know if anybody could please advise me on the city before I go? I am a mature student, studying Business and am said to have a high level of English already. I am coming with the objective to improve my language skills even more, in the professional sense. In the personal sense, I am hoping I will meet lots of English people to help me gain an understanding of your culture and how you natively speak the language. I want to get more confidence and this course, because it is aimed at already advanced learners, I think will really help me. I come from a small Spanish city (Salamanca) and so moving to the English capital is really exciting for me – I have never been before! After that I plan to make use of my language skills throughout my own country. I’d like to take a TEFL course and so be able to teach English to my friends in Spain learning it. Hopefully on returning from London, I’ll have some exciting stories to tell and inspire the people of Spain to learn your language!
