It takes about 3 months depending on how much free time I (Mike) have. Writing and recording the voices is the fun and fast part- but the animation, is a long process, especially since its a one man operation.
The only code I know is Up, Up , Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Select, Start-
But unless you are playing Contra, it won't work for Harlem World- So no there are none.
Probably not. We usually introduce a new small character in each episode- and they are either based on life-long friends, stupid figments of our imagination, or a combo of both.
Me and Andy were driving to Vermont and we decided that since we joke around all the time, that we should start writing our stupid jokes down- From there CU was started, and along with that....Andy's serious, serious Black Tar Herion problem.
Nah, screw that!
Actually, it would be cool, if it weren't such an incredible pain in the 'ol bean bag. We like to improv some lines, plus we prefer to have the voices recorded on the same mic, and also done a couple of different ways and pick the best one. If this were to happen via email with someone, I would have to smash things.....much like the Hulk does.
Well, for those who don't know, the CUST is the College University Street Team. Basically we would send out a promotional packet to anybody who sent us there address info. But after one round of the CUST we realized that the process is fargin expensive! So we MAY do another one in the future, if we can find an eaiser way to do, then we'll do it.
Was that really Macho Man Randy Savage's Voice in Episode 7?
Yes it really was! Our producer Johnie Tidwell (www.cartoonmogul.com) set up the deal with his record label, so that in exchange for providing some voices for the show, we would play some of his songs in the episode.
So we set a date where he would be in his recording studio, and I directed him over the phone.
He was a pro, it was so much fun listening to him say the lines that we wrote for him.
