Mr. Ninjaman,
I would love to attend ninja academy or go to ninja school. Does such a place exist? If so what do I need to enroll and become an efficient killing machine?
Thanks for your time.
-Discoballs
Sweet sweet Discoballs,
Your passion to attend Ninja Academy fills my heart with sorrow, for I have to be the one to tell you that it doesn't exist in real life, only in movie form.
Ninja Academy was a low brow comedy that I did in the mid-80's about a rag-tag group of young misfits attending their first year of Ninja school, but the instructors aren't going to put up with their pranks
I played the lead characer, "Mahoney-San". A confident ladies man and loyal friend. DK played "Tackleberry-San" a loose canon with a passion for large guns.
Once we get into the academy, it doesn't take long for hilarity to ensue. Me and the meanest Ninja instructors around, "Ninja Lassard-San" get in each others faces real quick, and the pranks start flying! He makes it his personal mission to kick me out of Ninja school, but when I lead the way and help save the day for the city. He has no choice but to bite his tongue and commit suicide.
That's kinda where the movie took a turn for the serious side. Mainly because the actor really did commit suicide, and we all thought it was just acting. The last third of the movie turns into this weird "Weekend At Bernies" style movie with Ninja fights and voodoo curses.
Let's just say the audience didn't appreciate it.
